This Privacy Policy explains what information forextoolsapp.com (“ForexToolsApp”, “we”, “us”) collects when you visit the site, how we use it and the choices you have. We try to collect as little personal data as we can.

Information we collect
When you read the site
Like most websites, our web server and our content delivery and security provider automatically process technical data each time a page loads. This includes your IP address, browser type and version, device and operating system details, the page you requested, the referring page and the date and time of the request. We need this data to deliver pages, keep the site secure and diagnose technical problems.
We do not currently use third-party analytics, advertising networks or tracking pixels on this site.
When you leave a comment
If you comment on an article, we collect the name, email address and optional website you enter, the comment itself, and your IP address and browser user agent. Your email address is never published.
Comments are screened for spam by Antispam Bee, a plugin that runs on our own server. With the settings we use, it checks comments locally and does not send them to an outside spam-filtering service. Avatars and Gravatar are turned off on this site, so your email address is not shared with Gravatar.
If you tick the box to save your details, your name, email address and website are stored in cookies on your device for one year so you do not need to type them again.
When you email us
If you write to us, we receive your email address and anything you include in the message. We use it only to reply and to keep a record of the conversation.
When you use our calculators
The calculators and the market hours clock on this site run entirely in your browser. The figures you type into them are not sent to our server and are not stored.
Login protection
To block password-guessing attacks, the site records the IP address and username used in failed login attempts to our administration area. This affects only people who try to log in, not ordinary readers.
Cookies
The site does not set advertising or analytics cookies. The cookies you may encounter are:
- Comment cookies, set only if you choose to save your details when commenting. They last one year.
- Login cookies, set only for site editors and administrators who sign in to manage content.
- Security cookies from Cloudflare, which may be set to tell genuine visitors apart from automated traffic and to protect the site from attacks. They are strictly necessary for security and are not used to follow you across other websites.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking them will not stop you from reading the site.
Service providers
- Cloudflare, Inc. delivers and protects the site. Your requests pass through Cloudflare’s network, which processes technical data such as your IP address. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy for details.
- Our hosting provider stores the site and keeps standard server logs.
Fonts are served from our own server, so loading a page does not send your data to a third-party font service.
Embedded content
Some articles may include embedded content, such as videos or charts from other websites. Embedded content behaves the same way as if you had visited the other site directly, and that site may collect data about you, use cookies and track your interaction with it.
How we use information
We use the information described above to:
- deliver the site and keep it fast and secure;
- publish and moderate comments and filter spam;
- reply to your messages and handle corrections and privacy requests;
- meet our legal obligations.
If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we rely on our legitimate interests in running and securing the site, on your consent for optional comment cookies, and on legal obligations where they apply.
How long we keep it
- Comments and their metadata are kept for as long as the comment stays published, or until you ask us to remove them.
- Emails are kept for as long as we need them to deal with your message and keep a reasonable record.
- Security logs and server logs are kept for a limited period and then deleted or overwritten.
Sharing your information
We do not sell or rent your personal information, and we do not share it for targeted advertising. We share data only with the service providers listed above so they can run the site for us, or when the law requires it.
International transfers
Our service providers may process data in countries other than your own, including the United States. Where the law requires it, we rely on appropriate safeguards for those transfers.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- access the personal data we hold about you;
- ask us to correct or delete it;
- object to or restrict how we use it;
- receive a copy of it in a portable format;
- withdraw consent where we rely on it.
California residents have the right to know what personal information we collect and to request its deletion. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined under California law.

The site is about financial markets and is not directed at anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
Security
We use HTTPS across the site, keep our software up to date and limit access to the administration area. No system is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect the information we hold.
Changes to this policy
If we add new tools that process personal data, such as analytics, advertising or a newsletter, we will update this policy before they go live and change the date at the top of this page.
